Ollie's Pond Park
Amenities: Birding, Dog Friendly, Fishing, Nature Preserve, & Natural Trails. Large number and a variety of birds are here and an easy 1 mile walk on a wide, flat path.

Manasota Key
Manasota Key is an 11-mile barrier island on Florida’s Gulf Coast located south of its busier neighbors, Sarasota, and Venice. The Manasota Key contains multiple beaches: Manasota Beach, Blind Pass Beach (aka Middle Beach), & Englewood Public Beach.

Stump Pass Beach State Park
Mile-long secluded swimming beach & a trail that runs through 5 different natural communities.

Caspersen Beach
One of the most enjoyable shelling beaches in the area with an exceptionally good place to find prehistoric sharks’ teeth. Enjoy a 20 min. walk along Caspersen’s nature trail through a coastal hammock. The southern 2/3 of the beach front were left in their natural state & offers a more secluded experience.

Venice Fishing Pier
The Venice Municipal Fishing Pier is located at Brohard Park on the south end of the island of Venice, connected to Sharky’s on the Pier. This 700-ft-long pier offers fishing without a license, plus rod & reel rentals & sunset views.

Gasparilla Island State Park
Separated from the mainland by Charlotte Harbor and Pine Island Sound, this island is part of a chain of Gulf Coast barrier islands. This island park offers activities such as fishing, swimming & snorkeling plus an 1890 lighthouse. Boca Grande Beach is also located here.
